HR Academy: Is Your Company's Retirement Plan Successful?
*Approved for 2 HRCI general credits and 2 SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Professional Development Credits (PDCs)*
The ultimate goal of an employer-sponsored retirement plan is to help employees accumulate enough savings for a successful retirement. The challenge is when each employee’s needs are unique and employers don’t have the information about participant’s finances outside of the plan to draw proper conclusions about their retirement readiness. Many employees have a general lack of confidence when it comes to their finances, and most companies don’t realize the impact they can make in this area. By leveraging behavioral finance, Human Resource professionals can improve employee decision making, remove barriers to employee engagement and maximize outcomes.
This course will help your HR team:
- Identify simple ways to improve upon your plan design
- Define actions to achieve impact in the areas you can control
- Determine appropriate metrics to measure plan success
- Establish a process to measure, act and continuously improve
- Leverage current trends and strategies to ensure your plan is on track
- Attract and retain talent using your competitive retirement plan
